React Job: Software Engr II

This particular position in the Connected Aero organization is for an energetic, experienced and strong team player to take end-to-end ownership in designing and developing complex cloud-based, enterprise-grade software applications. You will use your experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. You will also generate innovative solutions in work situations; trying different and novel ways to deal with problems and opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

• End-to-end solutions for end users and product development in a DevSecOps environment

• Own end-to-end software requirements, architecture, design, coding, integration, testing, verification & validation and certification.

• Be versatile, willing to work on all levels of the code stack and comfortable to code in multiple languages.

• Own customer experience, customer support and be the voice of the customer

• Exhibit strong analytical & software development skills

• Provide transparency into planning, implementation status, risks, etc.

YOU MUST HAVE

• Bachelors degree in Engineering or Computer Science

• 4-6+ years of overall product development experience with in-depth exposure to Cloud technologies

• 2+ years of hands on experience developing in React. Solit proficiency in front-end technologies and frameworks (e.g. HTML5, CSS3, Javascript, ES5, Node.js, ReactJS)

• Must have 2 years demonstrable programming and product development experience in Java as their primary development language.

• Strong technical skills with technologies such as Java/JPA, Hibernate, PostgreSQL, UI Technologies(React and Javascript) to build software that performs and scales in cloud environment

• Experience in developing and consuming web-based RESTful APIs and client integrations using JSON.

• Comfortable working with opensource technologies

• Experience with Development Tools for CI/CD, Unit and Integration testing, Automation and Orchestration, REST API, BI tools and SQL Interfaces. E.g. Jenkins, Bamboo.

• Develop test plans and strategies for new features/components with a focus on automation

• Knowledge of programming in Python, Scala and SQL is plus.
